On the night of the 9th/10th November 1989 the Berlin Wall fell.
Some of Mooch's family were in Germany that week and remember the partying locally & on the TV!

In 2009, the German Embassy in London built an Ice Wall to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall.
The art installation "Work in Progess" was designed by artists Manon Awst, UK, and Benjamin Walther, Germany.
The previous page shows the Ice Wall during the day.
