Runnymede lies next to the Thames and is where the Magna Carta was sealed. The water meadow and hillside are owned by the National Trust. By the road there are lodges designed by Lutyens, one of which houses a tea-room.   (21-Jan-2011)

The Kennedy Memorial was dedicated in 1965 on land gifted to the United States of America. Mooch visited the memorial 50 years after President Kennedy's inauguration in January 1961. (So Mooch got to the USA without needing a passport or visa!)
