On the Wednesday morning, Mooch and Monty looked around the eastern tip of the Isle of Wight.
Here's Monty at the Bembridge RNLI lifeboat station
(18-Mar-2009)

In the garden of one of the beachfront houses is the "Bembridge Weather Stone".

The weather forecast depends on the state of the large hanging stone:
Stone is wet | Raining |
Stone is dry | Not Raining |
Shadow on ground | Sunny |
White on top | Snowing |
Can't see stone | Foggy |
Swinging stone | Windy |
Whirling stone | Very Windy |
Stone underwater | Flooding |
Stone jumping | Earthquake |
Stone gone | Tornado (or burglar!) |
Further along the beach Monty found a rope hanging from a tree
and he wondered if he could do a weather forecast in the same way.

Mooch and Monty enjoyed their morning walk on Bembridge beach.
After their morning walk, Mooch and Monty went to the Crab and Lobster in Bembridge for lunch.
